Enterprise Sales Executive – Houston

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, quota-carrying sales performer based in our Houston office or in the western USA. You will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers within the assigned territory. Emphasis will be placed on identifying and converting sales targets, including detailed tracking of sales prospects to establish a qualified pipeline, and activities including customer presentations, product demonstrations, and closing business. The Sales Executive will coordinate involvement of Professional Services as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Maximizes territory potential through targeting prospects, qualifying, conducting customer meetings and demonstrating the product.
  • Generates new target prospects through research, networking, and referrals.
  • Converts target prospects to sales opportunities by identifying alignment of critical business needs with company’s solutions and services.
  • Develops proposals together with Professional Services.
  • Maintains the Salesforce CRM for opportunity and contact management.
  • Manages the entire sales life-cycle
  • Travels to meetings and conferences
  • Organizes and coordinates online and in-person product demonstrations to prospective customers
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in software sales
  • Staffing and Recruiting industry knowledge is preferred
  • Demonstrated success in a B2B sales environment
  • Detailed knowledge of Salesforce
  • Track record of success
  • Excellent consultative and solution selling skills
  • A working technical knowledge of software components
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience and ease with cold-calling
  • Ability to accurately forecast, negotiate and close deals
